وكم مرةٍ طفنا بأُمِّ عبيدةٍ
بناwith us العيسُthe pale camels تلويsway والجنائبُand the led mounts تجهدُstrain
بنا العيسُ تلوي والجنائبُ تجهدُ
And how often we have circled Umm ʿUbayda,
How often we sailed along Umm Ubaydah
The pale camels swaying with us, while the led mounts strain.
