سَلِمتَ مِن كُلِّ أَلَم

سَلِمتَ مِن كُلِّ أَلَم

وَدُمتَ مَوفورَ النِعَم

وَدُمتَ مَوفورَ النِعَم

May you be safe from every pain,

You are safe from every pain

And remain rich in blessings,

And may you continue to have abundant blessings

في صِحَّةٍ لا يَنتَهي

في صِحَّةٍ لا يَنتَهي

شَبابُها إِلى هَرَم

شَبابُها إِلى هَرَم

In health that never lets

In health that does not end

Its youth give way to old age.

Its youth lasts to old age

يَحيا بِكَ الجودُ كَما

يَحيا بِكَ الجودُ كَما

يَموتُ يا يَحيى العَدَم

يَموتُ يا يَحيى العَدَم

Through you generosity lives, just as

Generosity lives through you

Poverty dies, O Yahya.

As death dies, O eternal non-existence

وَبَعدَ ذا قُل لِيَ ما

وَبَعدَ ذا قُل لِيَ ما

كانَ مِنَ الأَمرِ وَتَم

كانَ مِنَ الأَمرِ وَتَم

And after this, tell me what
