جاءَ الرَسولُ مُبَشِّري

جاءَ الرَسولُ مُبَشِّري

مِنها بِميعادِ الزِيارَه

The messenger came, bringing me glad tidings

The messenger came with glad tidings

from her, with the appointed time for the visit.

Of the promised time of her visit

أَهدى إِلَيَّ سَلامَها

أَهدى إِلَيَّ سَلامَها

وَأَتى بِخاتِمِها أَمارَه

وَأَتى بِخاتِمِها أَمارَه

He conveyed her greeting to me

He brought me her greeting

and brought her ring as a token.

And her ring was a token

وَأَشارَ عَن بَعضِ الحَدي

وَأَشارَ عَن بَعضِ الحَدي

ثِ وَحَبَّذا تِلكَ الإِشارَه

ثِ وَحَبَّذا تِلكَ الإِشارَه

And he hinted at some of the conversa-

He hinted at some of the talk

tion—and how welcome that hint!

And I welcomed that hinting

إِن صَحَّ ما قالَ الرَسو

إِن صَحَّ ما قالَ الرَسو

لُ وَهبتُهُ روحي بِشارَه

لُ وَهبتُهُ روحي بِشارَه

If true be what was said by the messen-

If what the messenger said is true
