كَالماءِ هَيِّنَةِ المَساغِ

I sent him on an errand,

فَحُرِمتُ حُسنَ قَضائِها

So I was denied its proper fulfillment,

But was deprived of its swift execution

for he was no good at delivery.

كَالخَمرِ يُرسَلُ لِلفُؤا

دِ بِها فَتَصعَدُ لِلدِماغِ

دِ بِها فَتَصعَدُ لِلدِماغِ

Like wine, sent to the
