كُلُّ ما تَمَّ عَلَيهِ

How can it be hidden from my beloved—

How can anything that happens

all that has befallen my heart—

Be hidden from my beloved

وَهُوَ في قَلبي مُقيمٌ

وَهُوَ في قَلبي مُقيمٌ

أَقرَبُ الناسِ إِلَيهِ

أَقرَبُ الناسِ إِلَيهِ

when he dwells in my heart,

When he dwells within my heart

the closest of all people to it?

And is closest to me of all people
