You chewed me up, holding me cheap;

my value sank in your eyes.

فَأَغلَقَ اللَهُ باباً

مِنهُ دَخَلتُ إِلَيكُم

So may God close a door

وَحَقِّكُم ما عَرَفتُم

قَدرَ الَّذي في يَدَيكُم

The worth of what is in your hands.

حَتّى وَلا كَيفَ أَنتُم
