فَمُندَفِعُ الغُلّانِ غُلّانِ مُنشِدُ

فَمُندَفِعُ الغُلّانِ غُلّانِ مُنشِدُ

فَنَعفُ الغُرابَ خُطبُهُ فَأَساوِدُه

فَنَعفُ الغُرابَ خُطبُهُ فَأَساوِدُه

Then the outlet of the ravines—the ravines of Munshid;

The passionate youths sing spirited songs,

then the spur of al-Ghurab, its Khutb, and then its black hills.

Their raven-black hair tossed by the wind's gusts.
