فَخَرَّ مِن وَجأَتِهِ مَيِّتاً

فَخَرَّ مِن وَجأَتِهِ مَيِّتاً

كَأَنَّما دُهدِهَ مِن حالِقِ

كَأَنَّما دُهدِهَ مِن حالِقِ

So he fell dead from his blow,

He fell down dead from his place of prayer

As though he had been sent tumbling from a lofty peak.

As if a bit shaved off by a barber.
