ياO عَينُeye بَكّيweep فَتىthe youth of الفِتيانَthe youths عُثماناUthman
يا عَينُ بَكّي فَتى الفِتيانَ عُثمانا
لاmay not يَبعَدَنَّever perish الفَتىthe youth مِنfrom آلِthe clan of دُثماناDuthman
لا يَبعَدَنَّ الفَتى مِن آلِ دُثمانا
O eye, weep for Uthman, the youth of youths.
May the youth of Duthman's clan never perish.
وَاِذكُرand remember فَتىًa youth ماجِداًnoble حُلواًsweet شِمائِلُهُhis traits
وَاِذكُر فَتىً ماجِداً حُلواً شِمائِلُهُ
ماnot مِثلُهُhis equal فارِسٌa horseman فيin آلِthe clan of هَمداناHamdan
ما مِثلُهُ فارِسٌ في آلِ هَمدانا
And remember a noble youth, sweet in his ways.
No horseman in Hamdan's clan is his equal.
