وَأَبوand Abu بُرَيذَعَةَBuraydhaʿa الَّذيwhom حُدِّثتُهُI was told about him
وَأَبو بُرَيذَعَةَ الَّذي حُدِّثتُهُ
فيناamong us أَذَلُّmore abased مِنَthan الخَصِيِّthe castrated male الدَيزَجِthe dark-hued one
فينا أَذَلُّ مِنَ الخَصِيِّ الدَيزَجِ
And Abū Buraydha—the man I was told about—
And Abu Buraydhaʿa, of whom I was told,
is more abject among us than the eunuch al-Dayzaj.
Is among us more abased than the dark-hued castrate.
