فخبر رجالا يكرهون إيابي

When we emerge from the pass of Laflaf,

When we emerge from the winding valley,

then tell men who hate my return.

Inform men who resent my return

وخبرهم ان قد رجعت بغبطة

وخبرهم ان قد رجعت بغبطة

أحدّدُ اظفاري ويصرف نابي

أحدّدُ اظفاري ويصرف نابي

And tell them that I have returned with joy.

And inform them I have come back gleefully

I sharpen my claws, and my fang gnashes.

Sharpening my claws, baring my fangs,

واني ابن حرب لا تزال تهرني

واني ابن حرب لا تزال تهرني

كلاب عدوي أو تهر كلابي

كلاب عدوي أو تهر كلابي

And I am a son of war: forever snarling at me

For I am a son of war, ceaselessly hounded

are my enemy's dogs, or my own dogs snarl.

By the dogs of my foe, or hounding their dogs
