Fazarah grazes in its settled homeland,

And wanders among stretches of firm ground and sands.

They pay their tribute without leniency,

And time is fraught with reversals and turmoil.

We are the armored champions for the man of battle amid its terror,

And those who stain the slit-open tunic.

And Bakr repaid you with a requital that was due,

And the sons of Fazarah wheeled about when it was time to wheel.
