Tell al-Musharif, on my behalf,

Tell those nearby about me

the words of one who throws off sparks:

Words of one who suffers

والله إن لم يبادر

بدفع ما قد تقرر

By God, if he does not hasten

By God if he does not hasten

to pay what has been settled,

To pay what has been decided

لأرسلن ابن آوى

لأرسلن ابن آوى

إليك في آل هزفر

إليك في آل هزفر

I shall surely send Ibn Awa, the jackal,

I will send the son of Awaa

to you with Hazfar's clan,

To you among every unkempt tribe

وابن الحبلق فيمن

وابن الحبلق فيمن

يليه من جن عبقر

يليه من جن عبقر

and Ibn al-Hablaq with those

And the son of Hubalaq among those

who follow him among the jinn of Abqar.

Who follow him from the cunning Jinn

هذي إشارة علم

هذي إشارة علم

تفسيرها ليس يذكر
