كم للعدى من غارة فيكم

يعصر منها عرق اللبد

How many a raid your foes have launched against you

How many raids by the enemies against you

That wrings sweat from thick-maned lions!

That wring sweat from the felt!

والله ما فوق الثرى مثلكم

والله ما فوق الثرى مثلكم

في الأم والوالد والجد

في الأم والوالد والجد

By God, no one upon the earth is your equal

By God, none above the earth is like you

In mother, father, and grandfather.

In mother, father, and grandfather.

لما غدوتم أمة وحدكم

لما غدوتم أمة وحدكم

غدوت فيكم أمة وحدي

غدوت فيكم أمة وحدي

When you alone became a nation,

Since you became a nation by yourselves,

I alone became a nation through you.

I became among you a nation by itself.

أجنيكم من ثمرات الثنا

أجنيكم من ثمرات الثنا

ما غرست نعمتكم عندي

ما غرست نعمتكم عندي

I gather for you, from the fruits of praise,

I reap from you the fruits of praise

What your bounty has planted in me.

That your bounty planted in me.
