عَيَّرتَني أَم عَطاء اللَه ذا الفَنَعِ

عَيَّرتَني أَم عَطاء اللَه ذا الفَنَعِ

Was it the shade of my house, or a beautiful woman living in ease,

My beloved's house I passed, or was it a graceful gazelle

that you taunted me for—or God’s abundant bounty?

Did she taunt me, or was it God's blessing with charm
