تَبارَكَ مَنْ كَسَا خَدَّيْكَ وَرْداً

تَبارَكَ مَنْ كَسَا خَدَّيْكَ وَرْداً

تَطَلَّعَ مِنْ فُرُوعِ اليَاسَمِينِ

تَطَلَّعَ مِنْ فُرُوعِ اليَاسَمِينِ

Blessed is the one who clothed your cheeks in roses

Blessed is he who clothed your cheeks with roses

that sprang from the boughs of jasmine.

That peered from the branches of jasmine

وِصَالُكَ جَنَّتِي وَجَفَاكَ نارِي

وِصَالُكَ جَنَّتِي وَجَفَاكَ نارِي

وَوَجْهُكَ قِبْلَتِي وَهَوَاكَ دِيني

وَوَجْهُكَ قِبْلَتِي وَهَوَاكَ دِيني

Union with you is my paradise, and your coldness is my fire.

Your company is my paradise, your separation my hell

And your face is my direction of prayer, and love of you is my religion.

Your face my qiblah, your love my religion

أَكُلُّ النَّاسِ تَمْطُلُهُمْ بِدَيْنٍ

أَكُلُّ النَّاسِ تَمْطُلُهُمْ بِدَيْنٍ

لَقَدْ أَوْثَقْتَ نَفْسَكَ بِالدُّيُونِ

لَقَدْ أَوْثَقْتَ نَفْسَكَ بِالدُّيُونِ

Do you put everyone off over a debt?

All people procrastinate in repaying a debt

Indeed, you have bound yourself with debts.

You have surely burdened yourself with debts
