خِزْياً لألسنهمْ وَخفْضِ الشانِ
Those who envy you stirred up hostility and gave offense.
Your enviers have set enmity, and so
Shame upon their tongues, and abasement of their standing!
Brought shame upon their tongues and degradation.

مَرْفوعَةٌ بِعَوامِلِ المُرَّانِ
So when shall I see them—[unclear wording in the source]—with their heads
Whenever I see them dead with severed heads
Raised on the points of ash-wood spears?
Hoisted on tent poles as admonition.
