يَا طَالِبَ الأَبكارِ إنّي أَعْزَلٌ

يَا طَالِبَ الأَبكارِ إنّي أَعْزَلٌ

لا رُمْحَ لي كَيْ أَسْتَعِدَّ لِحَرْبِها

لا رُمْحَ لي كَيْ أَسْتَعِدَّ لِحَرْبِها

O seeker of virgins, indeed I am unarmed;

O seeker of virginity, I am weaponless

I have no lance with which to prepare for battle against her.

I have no lance to prepare for its war

فَاقطَعْ بِصِحَّةِ مَا ذكرْتَ فَإنَّها

فَاقطَعْ بِصِحَّةِ مَا ذكرْتَ فَإنَّها

جَاءَتْ سُلَيماناً بِخاتَمِ رَبِّها

جَاءَتْ سُلَيماناً بِخاتَمِ رَبِّها
