I was healed of illness by Talib's blessing.

For you are the noblest to trail the mantle of recovery.

And no ailment of the noble has been charmed away by anything like it,

when they lend an ear: “Who will listen to a supplicant?”

Through you, today the heart of glory and eminence has recovered,

and expectations of you have proved true, not false.

And freshness has appeared upon the face of noble virtues,

whereas before this they had shown us a pallid hue.

Take a share from here, O company of delegates:

it casts dust by handfuls into the faces of calamities.

And rise, for he has called you—the one whose right hand holds

the bounty of the king of hopes—the parchment of gifts.

He is cool-handed, abundant in bounty, verdant with dew,

when the sea fails to quench a drinker's thirst.

O sons of al-Hasan, exalted glory has settled with you,

nor cast a rope over any withers but yours.

And with the full moon you have lit every path

that was hidden and, with proof, the ways of the schools of thought.

And your days are white and translucent, as though

you had poured upon them the virtues you possess.

To you, imam of the age, a truthful man's praise—

praise and affection, in neither of which he lies.

He congratulates you if, through sickness, you have grown rich in health

and reward: these two are surely the best outcomes.
