أَعِدْgive back مَدْحاًpraise كَذبْتُI lied عليكَabout you فِيهِin it
أَعِدْ مَدْحاً كَذبْتُ عليكَ فِيهِ
وَقَدand indeed عَاقَبْتَyou punished بِالحِرْمانِwith deprivation عَنْهُfor it
وَقَد عَاقَبْتَ بِالحِرْمانِ عَنْهُ
Give back the praise in which I lied about you;
And you have punished me for it with deprivation.
وَلكنّيand yet I سَأصدُقُI shall speak truthfully فِيكَabout you قَولاًa statement
وَلكنّي سَأصدُقُ فِيكَ قَولاً
فَلاso let not يَصْعُبْbe difficult عليكَfor you الحَقُّthe truth مِنْهُof it
فَلا يَصْعُبْ عليكَ الحَقُّ مِنْهُ
But I shall speak truthfully about you,
So let its truth not be hard for you to bear.
