وَسَهَّلَ حَظُّهُ رِزْقاً عَسِيراً

وَسَهَّلَ حَظُّهُ رِزْقاً عَسِيراً

أراحَ بهِ فُؤَادِي مِن عَنَائِه

أراحَ بهِ فُؤَادِي مِن عَنَائِه

And his good fortune made a difficult livelihood easy.

He made my difficult sustenance easy,

With it, he relieved my heart of its toil.

With it he gave my heart rest from its troubles,

وعَادَ ليَ الرِّصَاصُ بهِ لُجيناً

وعَادَ ليَ الرِّصَاصُ بهِ لُجيناً

فَأَصَلُ سَعَادتي مِن كيميائِه

فَأَصَلُ سَعَادتي مِن كيميائِه

And through him, lead turned to silver for me.

And by it lead became for me soft gold,

So my happiness has its source in his alchemy.

So the origin of my happiness is from his alchemy.
