ضَيفٌ مِن الصَّفْعِ نَزَّالٌ علَى القِمَمِ
And a miser who loathes guests was visited
A stingy man who spurned his guests
By a guest of slaps, ever descending upon crowns.
Was visited by one from Safa descending the peaks.

I asked him, “What do you complain of?” So he recited to me:
I asked him, "What is your complaint?" He recited to me:
“A guest has alighted on my head, unabashed.”
"A guest has pained my head, possessing no modesty."
