    An introduction has arrived, whose choicest meanings

    Are radiant, dazzling offspring.

    Like a lush garden, whose blossoms were smiled upon

    By a cloud pouring copiously from your hand’s bounty.

    فَهْيَ العَرُوسُ ومَنْ جَلاهَا التَّاجُ

    She settled in the assembly of al-Sahib ibn Muhammad;

    So she is the bride, and the one who unveiled her is al-Taj—the Crown.

    Her rays have dazzled, so the forenoon sun is not

    The forenoon sun, nor is al-Siraj—the Lamp—a lamp.
