The singer of the night spares you no song.
The nightingale never ceases its melodious singing,
He has tired of sleep, so he calls to dawn, exhausted.
It has filled the land as it calls out to the dawn with great effort.

When he grew rapturous, he shook his flank with delight,
When it became enraptured it shook its wings in rapture,
And stretched his neck for his cry as he prolonged it.
And stretched its voice as the neck stretches.

To him, just before dawn, the Pleiades resembled a bunch of grapes.
The Pleiades told him of the cluster before dawn.
