O Abu Muhammad, clothed in a light of eminence

with which God has clothed neither sun nor moon:

Suppose you hid for no reason; but your bounty, O

you who delighted in doing good—why has it hidden itself?

Just as you vanished from my sight and are not seen,

so it too vanished from my sight and is not seen.

Whoever wagered that I would not receive

anything of what I was promised has indeed won his wager.
