بأبي يا ابنَ الفروع الناضرهْ

بأبي يا ابنَ الفروع الناضرهْ

والنجومِ المشرقاتِ الزاهرهْ

والنجومِ المشرقاتِ الزاهرهْ

May my father be your ransom, O son of verdant branches,

By my father, O son of the flourishing branches

And of shining, radiant stars.

And the shining, blooming stars

لي أخٌ لما رأَى نفسيَ من

لي أخٌ لما رأَى نفسيَ من

وجدها بالراحِ شِبْهَ الطائره

وجدها بالراحِ شِبْهَ الطائره

I have a brother who, when he saw my soul—because of

I have a brother, when he saw my soul

Its longing for wine—like a bird in flight,

He found it with the wind like a bird

قال شِمْ كفَّ أبي قاسِمِنا

قال شِمْ كفَّ أبي قاسِمِنا

فبحارُ الرّاحِ فيها زاخِره

فبحارُ الرّاحِ فيها زاخِره

Said, “Behold the palm of our Abu Qasim:

He said, "Smell the palm of our father Qasim

For seas of wine are brimming within it.”

For the oceans of wind in it are abundant"

قلت إنّا قد رُدِدْنَا مرَّةً

قلت إنّا قد رُدِدْنَا مرَّةً

وعلى اللهِ تمامُ العاشِرَه

وعلى اللهِ تمامُ العاشِرَه

I said, “Indeed, we have already been turned away once;

I said, "We have been driven back once

And the completion of the tenth rests with God.”

And with Allah is the completion of the tenth"
