وصار ذا مثلَ ذاك حذواً

بل زاد طولاً وزاد عرضا

And this became the equal of that, measure for measure—

And this came to match that, measure for measure.

No, it grew in length and grew in breadth.

Rather, it exceeded it in length and exceeded it in breadth.

فلستُ أرضاه لي شراباً

فلستُ أرضاه لي شراباً

والحمدُ لله لَسْتُ أرضى

والحمدُ لله لَسْتُ أرضى

So I do not accept it as a drink for myself;

So I do not approve of it as a drink for myself.

And praise be to God, I am not content with it.
