Does he intoxicate us with drunken eyelids?

A fawn has captured the gazelles with the languor of his glance;

I say to him who resembles the Virgin in beauty:
Why have you shunned the creed of maidens?
Why have you turned away from the virgins' faith?

all the world is jealous along with me.
