As for my servant Asad, he has rebelled,

And sold the legacy of verse and riddles

For an insulting nickname—what an ugly nickname!

And took a cupper in exchange—humiliation after honor?

Black, like a he-goat springing among the goats,

With a basket in which the bottles are packed tightly,

Like a pond filled with geese,

Along with lancets resembling fringes of raw silk,

And razors no rougher to the touch than silken cloth.

As though the pattern of his incisions were a string of beads,

He does not force the suction as the novice does.

Marvel at him, crouched above a white man!

So this one's cock has sunk into that one's arse,

As though it were a she-goat's shank in rice.
