ونهىً غادرتْ ضميرَ القراطي

ونهىً غادرتْ ضميرَ القراطي

س مُصيخاً لألسنِ الأقلامِ

س مُصيخاً لألسنِ الأقلامِ

And wisdom that left the heart of the sheets of paper

listening intently to the tongues of pens.

وكذا الهاشميُّ مثلك لا يُم

وكذا الهاشميُّ مثلك لا يُم

دَحُ إلا بهاشميِّ الكلام

دَحُ إلا بهاشميِّ الكلام

And so a Hashemite like you is not

praised except with Hashemite speech.
