A secret has its states: in one, it is shared by a group;
A secret has different forms: one is shared by a group;
in another, by two confidants—but the wisest is the lone keeper.
Another by two confidants; the most prudent is one person alone.

Better than all these is to guard your secret, keeping it concealed
And better than these is guarding your secret, keeping it concealed,
until those opportunities through which good fortune may be won.
Until the opportunities through which good fortune is attained.
