بَني أَحمد يا خيرة اللَه في الوَرى

بَني أَحمد يا خيرة اللَه في الوَرى

وَمِن حُبهم في طَي أَكبادِنا يُبنى

وَمِن حُبهم في طَي أَكبادِنا يُبنى

O sons of Ahmad, God's chosen among humankind.

O sons of Ahmed, the best of Allah among people

And from love for them, something is built within the folds of our livers.

And from love for them our livers are built

وَيا سادة شطوا وَشَط مَزارهم

وَيا سادة شطوا وَشَط مَزارهم

سَلام عَلَيكُم إِن حَضَرنا وَإِن غبنا

سَلام عَلَيكُم إِن حَضَرنا وَإِن غبنا

And O masters who have gone far away, whose place of visitation has grown distant.

And O masters extend and extend their tombs

Peace be upon you, whether we are present or absent.

Peace be upon you whether we are present or absent

طَهرتهم فطهرنا بِفاضل طهركم

طَهرتهم فطهرنا بِفاضل طهركم

وَطلتُم وَلَكن في مَحبتكم طلنا

وَطلتُم وَلَكن في مَحبتكم طلنا

You purified them, so we became pure through your overflowing purity.

You purified so we are purified by your superior purity

And you rose high, but in loving you we too rose high.

You sought so we sought but in your love we sought

وَسدنا بِكُم إِذا سدتُم الناس بِالتُقى

وَسدنا بِكُم إِذا سدتُم الناس بِالتُقى

وَطبتم فَمِن آثار طيبكم طبنا

وَطبتم فَمِن آثار طيبكم طبنا

And through you we gained eminence, when through piety you surpassed the people.

And we blocked when you blocked people with piety

And you were good, so from the traces of your goodness we became good.

And you were good so from traces of your goodness we were good

وَرثنا عَن الآباء عقد وَلائكُم

وَرثنا عَن الآباء عقد وَلائكُم

فَنَحنُ عَلَيهِ إِن بَقينا وَإِن متنا

فَنَحنُ عَلَيهِ إِن بَقينا وَإِن متنا

And we inherited from our forefathers the bond of allegiance to you.

We inherited from our fathers loyalty to you

So we hold to it, whether we remain alive or die.

So we are upon it whether we remain or pass away

وَنَحنُ بِهِ نَرقى العلى في حياتِنا

وَنَحنُ بِهِ نَرقى العلى في حياتِنا

وَنَحنُ إِذا متنا نورثه الأَبنا

وَنَحنُ إِذا متنا نورثه الأَبنا

And through it we ascend the heights in our lifetime.

And with it we ascend the highest in our lives

And when we die, we bequeath it to our sons.
