  1. يبيت الضيفُ عند بني نُجيح

    خميص البطن ليس له طعام

    The guest spends the night among the sons of Nujayh,

    Hollow-bellied, with no food for him.

  2. يَهونُ عليهم أن يحرموهُ

    إذا حَلَبوا لقاحهم وناموا

    They think nothing of depriving him,

    When they have milked their milch camels and gone to sleep.
