فأدِّ حُقوقَ قَومِكَ واجتَنِبهُم

فأدِّ حُقوقَ قَومِكَ واجتَنِبهُم

وَلا يطمع بكَ العِزُّ الفطيرُ

وَلا يطمع بكَ العِزُّ الفطيرُ

So give your people their due, and keep your distance from them;

And let no unseasoned pride presume upon you.
