أودَى ابن جُلهمَ عبادٌ بصرمَتهِ

ʿAbbād, son of Julhum, has brought ruin to his herd of camels.

The son of Julham's servants were undone by his severity,

Indeed, the son of Julhum has become the valley’s serpent.

For the son of Julham became like a serpent in the valley.
