As though pure, tawny wine
As though a gray cloud, pouring down,
were shimmering between a wine-strainer and a jar,
Sparkles between orchards and thickets,

فراسةُ مُقلَتي وَصَحيحُ ظَنّي
with which Sulayma’s front teeth are moistened—
With it the valleys of Sulaima are filled,
such is my eye’s discernment and my sound surmise.
Keen are my glances and true my surmise.
