هُمُ الرَبيعُ عَلى مَن ضافَ أَرحُلَهُم

هُمُ الرَبيعُ عَلى مَن ضافَ أَرحُلَهُم

وَفي العَدُوِّ مَناكيدٌ مَشائيمُ

وَفي العَدُوِّ مَناكيدٌ مَشائيمُ

They are spring to whoever comes as a guest to their camps;

They are spring for whoever hosted their saddlebags,

And to the enemy, bringers of misery and ill omen.

And in running away are cunning ploys and wiles.
