وَعَينُand the eye السُخطِof displeasure تُبصِرُsees كُلَّevery عَيبٍfault
وَعَينُ السُخطِ تُبصِرُ كُلَّ عَيبٍ
وَعَينُand the eye أَخيof one with الرِضاcontentment عَنto ذاكَthat تَعمىis blind
وَعَينُ أَخي الرِضا عَن ذاكَ تَعمى
The eye of displeasure sees every fault,
And the eye of displeasure sees every fault;
while the eye of one who is pleased is blind to that.
And the eye of one who is pleased is blind to that.
