جَزانيhe repaid me أَخوa man of لَخمٍLakhm عَلىfor ذاتِthe matter of بَينِناbetween us
جَزاني أَخو لَخمٍ عَلى ذاتِ بَينِنا
جَزاءَthe recompense of سِنمارَSinimmar وَماand not كانَwas ذاpossessing ذَنبِa fault
جَزاءَ سِنمارَ وَما كانَ ذا ذَنبِ
A man of Lakhm repaid me for what lay between us
With Sinimmar’s reward, though he had done no wrong.
