    بمحبتِّهمُ بِدَعاً فعلوا

    They did strange deeds in their love.

    In their love, strange deeds they did.

  4. جَهِلوا كلفي بمحاسنهمْ

    بمحاسنهمْ كلفي جَهِلوا

    They were unaware of my passion for their charms.

    Of my passion for their charms, they were unaware.

  5. كَمُلوا حسناً طابوا خبراً

    خبراً طابوا حسناً كَمُلوا

    They were perfect in beauty, pleasing in repute.

    In repute they were pleasing; in beauty they were perfect.
