عَبيدُ اللاتِ فيما جاءَ عَنهُم

عَبيدُ اللاتِ فيما جاءَ عَنهُم

يَسُبّونَ الإِلَهَ بَغَيرِ عِلمِ

يَسُبّونَ الإِلَهَ بَغَيرِ عِلمِ

The worshippers of al-Lāt, according to what is reported of them,

The polytheists in their misguided ways

revile God without knowledge.

Curse God though they nothing know,

وَأَمّا المُجبِرونَ فَعَن يَقينٍ

وَأَمّا المُجبِرونَ فَعَن يَقينٍ

يَسُبّونَ الإِلَهَ بِكُلِّ ظُلمِ

يَسُبّونَ الإِلَهَ بِكُلِّ ظُلمِ

And as for the determinists, with certainty,

While the fatalists, from conviction born,

they revile God with every injustice.

With every wrong God also curse and scorn.
