سُنَّةَ اللَهِ في الَّذينَ هَدى التَسلي

سُنَّةَ اللَهِ في الَّذينَ هَدى التَسلي

مُ وَالمَنعُ سُنَّةَ الشَيطانِ

مُ وَالمَنعُ سُنَّةَ الشَيطانِ

Submission is God’s way among those He has guided;

God's way with those whom He has guided is to give them peace

and refusal is Satan’s way.

While withholding is the way of Satan

فَلِذا قَولُ لا نُسَلِّمُ أَضحى

فَلِذا قَولُ لا نُسَلِّمُ أَضحى

في ذَوِيِّهِ مُقابَلَ البُرهانِ

في ذَوِيِّهِ مُقابَلَ البُرهانِ

Thus the saying “We do not concede” has become

Thus we say we will not surrender reason

among those who use it, a counter to proof.

To bigotry, however dear the bigot be
