أَيا مَن حُبُّهُ حالي

أَيا مَن حُبُّهُ حالي

وَحالي سَترُهُ شَرطُ

وَحالي سَترُهُ شَرطُ

O you whose love is my state,

Oh you who's love is my present

And concealing my state is a condition;

And my present is his veil a condition

وَمَن وَقتي بِهِ سَيفٌ

وَمَن وَقتي بِهِ سَيفٌ

عَلى الكَونِ بِهِ أَسطو

عَلى الكَونِ بِهِ أَسطو

And you through whom my time is a sword,

And he who's time with me is a sword

With it I overpower existence.

Upon the universe with it I wield

لَكَ الأَمرُ لَكَ النَهيُ

لَكَ الأَمرُ لَكَ النَهيُ

لَكَ القَبضُ لَكَ البَسطُ

لَكَ القَبضُ لَكَ البَسطُ

Yours is the command, yours the prohibition;

To you belongs the command, to you the prohibition

Yours is constriction, yours expansion;

To you belongs the grasping, to you the extension

وَمِنكَ اللَوحُ وَالخَطُّ

وَمِنكَ اللَوحُ وَالخَطُّ

وَفِيَّ الشَكلُ وَالنَقطُ

وَفِيَّ الشَكلُ وَالنَقطُ

And from you come the tablet and the script;

And from you the tablet and the script

And in me are the vowel marks and dots;

And within me the form and the dot

وَمِن كافِكَ وَالنونِ

وَمِن كافِكَ وَالنونِ

تَجَلّى العَدلُ وَالقِسطُ

تَجَلّى العَدلُ وَالقِسطُ

And from your kāf and the nūn

And from your Kaf and your Nun
