With the gleaming swords of India and sharp spears,

I am hopeful that my desire will be fulfilled for me,

So I may attain my aim and put my soul at ease,

And my condition be praised in every gathering.

For life's meaning lies in slaying enemies

And severing their necks in every valley.

For that, by the All-Merciful, is a duty in my eyes,

Just like the duty in times of jihad.
