ياO سَيّديmy lord الأَعلىmost exalted وَمَنand the one whom
يا سَيّدي الأَعلى وَمَن
عَدَّدتُهُI reckoned him أَقوىstrongest العُدَدْthe supports
عَدَّدتُهُ أَقوى العُدَدْ
O my most exalted lord, and you whom
O my supreme Lord, and He
I have reckoned the strongest of supports,
Whom I counted the strongest of hosts,
حَلَّتalighted طُيورُكَyour birds بيwith me وَقَدand indeed
حَلَّت طُيورُكَ بي وَقَد
قَرّبتَyou brought near مِنهاof them ماwhat بُعدْwas far away
قَرّبتَ مِنها ما بُعدْ
Your birds have alighted with me, and indeed
Your birds have alighted on me, and
you have brought near those of them that were far away.
You brought them near from afar.
كاشَفتَناyou disclosed to us عَنabout سرِّهاtheir secret
كاشَفتَنا عَن سرِّها
فَوَشىso it whispered إِليّto me بِهاabout them الصُرَدْthe shrike
فَوَشى إِليّ بِها الصُرَدْ
You disclosed their secret to us,
You unveiled their secret to us,
so the shrike whispered to me of them in
So the young birds whispered it to me.

بَيتا يَدُلُّ عَلى اِعتقا
