عَفُوكَ لِلعالَمِ لا تُخلِيَن

عَفُوكَ لِلعالَمِ لا تُخلِيَن

حُنظُبَةً مِنهُ وَلا عُنظُبَه

حُنظُبَةً مِنهُ وَلا عُنظُبَه

Your pardon is for the world—do not deprive

Your forgiveness covers all the world

A beetle of it, nor a locust.

Nor leaves from it the slightest spot accursed,

لا ظُبَةُ الصارِمِ باشَرتُها

لا ظُبَةُ الصارِمِ باشَرتُها

فيكَ وَلا زُرتُ لِحَجِّي ظُبَه

فيكَ وَلا زُرتُ لِحَجِّي ظُبَه

I have not touched the sharp sword’s edge

Nor has the brand of those who blame e'er touched

For your sake, nor visited Ẓubah for my pilgrimage.

Your being, nor have I approached with lies.
