بِوَحدانِيَّةِ العَلّامِ دِنّاً

بِوَحدانِيَّةِ العَلّامِ دِنّاً

فَذَرني أَقطَعُ الأَيّامَ وَحدي

We have professed faith in the oneness of the All-Knowing;

With the oneness of the All-Knowing as my religion

So leave me to pass the days alone.

سَأَلتُ عَنِ الحَقائِقِ كُلَّ يَومٍ

فَما أَلفَيتُ إِلّا حَرفَ جَحدِ

Each day I asked about truths,

I asked about the truths every day

But I found only a word of denial,

But found only the letter of denial

سِوى أَنّي أَزولُ بِغَيرِ شَكٍّ

فَفي أَيِّ البِلادِ يَكونُ لَحدي

Except that I shall pass away without a doubt.
