أَنَّthat الأَجادِلَthe falcons لاdo not تُطيلُprolong جِدالَهاdisputing with her
The dove knows, when she calls in the forenoon,
The dove knows when it coos at dawn
that falcons do not prolong their quarrel with her.
That disputes don’t prolong their wrangling

And fate, ordained in the twilight, brought her
Destiny offered it a guide in the form
a falcon that bereaved her doves of the young dove.
Of a falcon that startles it with a screech

A stealthy hunter brought low the oryxes of the flinty rocks;
And the guardians of its nest pretend
the Sovereign saw their enemy and granted them victory.
To defend it while the king sees its foe and lets it fall
وَخَدىand sped لِأَرضٍtoward a land بِالفَقيرِwith the poor man نَجِيُّهُhis swift mount

And his swift mount sped with the poor man toward a land;
A refugee flees to a poor land
then he gained its wealth and possessed its full-limbed women.
And seizes its riches and grasps its treasures
