خُذي مِن رِزقِ رَبِّكِ غَيرَ بَسلٍ

خُذي مِن رِزقِ رَبِّكِ غَيرَ بَسلٍ

كَما أَخَذَت مِنَ المَرعى الوُحوشُ

كَما أَخَذَت مِنَ المَرعى الوُحوشُ

Take from your Lord’s provision what is not forbidden,

Take from your Lord's provision without tiring,

As the wild beasts took from the pasture;

As the beasts took from the pasture.

وَحُلّي مِثلَهُنَّ البَرَّ حَتّى

وَحُلّي مِثلَهُنَّ البَرَّ حَتّى

تَلاقينَ المَنونَ وَهُنَّ حوشُ

تَلاقينَ المَنونَ وَهُنَّ حوشُ

And dwell, like them, in the open country until

Adorn yourself with righteousness until

You meet death, while they remain wild.

You meet death still adorned.
