Souls have indeed looked to God to dispel

troubles; and He granted some souls what they hoped for.

So if the horses readied for battle save you,

then by a decree coming from God they have saved you.

And how different are the slain, their head wounds in the dust,

and wine 'slain' amid gatherings, 'wounded' by dilution.
